November has already begun! There’s a nice chill in the morning wind. We are just two months away from new year and to accomplish our new year resolutions before we make some new ones 🙂
Think back of your resolutions from January, did you keep them? Do you even remember them? Is it ringing any bells?
Most of us had some plans or thoughts to be more healthy, happy, active or less busy, less weight, less stress and more…in this year :))
We are at the verge of new year and there’s no better time to pause and reflect how this year has been to us, and how we have been to the year. What promises could we keep to ourselves and what not.
If you did follow through – Kudos to you! If you did not, don’t get disheartened, it’s time to review your goals. Check which goals are really meaningful and are going to create some magic in your life!
Pen them down and if your list is long, cut that into half and again till you are left with 3-5 most important ones.
Now sketch a baby step plan…and remember 3 most important basics –
- Be very very very specific: like I ‘ll go to gym on tuesday, thursday n saturday at 6.30 am, play squash 30 min and do weights for 20 minutes.
- Set realistic goals: If you set I’ll go to gym 6 days a week, and you’ve not been to gym even 6 times in a month earlier; you need a reality check!
- Create a system: to make it work for you, just will power is not enough. Be ready to try smething new. Make a buddy, take help of a friend who can support you, set reminders on your phone, computer, fridge magnets.
Now It is time to – Ready Steady Go!!!
