Self – awareness leadership programme for a brilliant team of 42 Senior Executives from all over India, conducted at beautiful Goa.
The focus of this training was on learning subtle skills for “Emotional Intelligence” like Active listening, managing anger, developing empathy and emotional awareness for self and others in the team.
The day began with an energizer that filled the room with energy and laughter.
It was a wonderful experience training a highly inquisitive and energetic team.
All participants were highly engaged and amazed me with their insightful questions throughout.
Even lunch and tea breaks were buzzing with discussions. It was a great pleasure to help them with issues like day to day conflicts at work.
The 1st part was about understanding we all have our own map of the world, which is coloured by our beliefs, perception and attitude.
We see everything around us through these maps. And interestingly, other people’s map of the world is different from our map.
When we embrace this fact, we become more empathic towards other people and understand why they do what they do.
The 2nd part of the training was about emotional awareness and raising EQ.
