On the flight from Goa to Delhi 2 days back, I couldn’t help but notice this young flight attendant, who was full of positive energy.
How did I feel that? By his smile!
Alok Singh, Air India Crew; his smile conveyed so much more than “it is my job to smile at passengers on the flight hence I do.” His smile was really heart warming, genuine and sincere, for everyone there. It was so noticeable how eagerly he was serving not only the passengers but also helping his crewmates.
Even if it was quite evident, I decided to make sure that it is not merely my observation, because of my happy mood (as I was going home after conducting a training in Goa).
I made a move to check with his collegeaus. Interestingly everyone shared something awesome about him. Dolon shared that Alok is really pleasant and happy at work which was self-evident.
Manish, other crew member mentioned that on the first day of Alok’s work, he told Alok that he is so dedicated, full of zeal and motivation. He also shared Alok is very emotional and pen down all his flight memories.
Though He wondered would Alok remain same after working some more time in this difficult environment, as usually people change after some bitter experiences.
That made me think does our smile say much more than just our personality. Is it true that our good or bad experiences can change our smile?
If eyes are the window of your soul, smile is definitely the window of your heart. Your smile depicts a lot about you. And one can easily observe whether the smile is sincere or not.
Thanks Alok for the wonderful experience and a food for thought!
So what does your smile convey?
