Thoughts…

They are essential, interesting, funny, scary and sometimes waste, like unwanted guests.

 

60000 – 80000 thoughts per day! Yup! That’s what we handle everyday.

 

Though most of these thoughts are at unconscious level and a little percentage is what we are aware of. Still thoughts are… what run our life day in day out.

Thoughts create our reality. That’s why two people in same circumstances can have completely different experiences and different level of stress or joy.

 

In my coaching work, most of the issues clients bring are around thoughts and emotions. How our thoughts, perceptions and beliefs shape our reality and have a major role in creating our life.

 

The universal truth is that “with the power of our thoughts and emotions, we co-create our reality with this universe.”

To be able to observe and choose our thoughts, is one of the most powerful thing we can do as human beings.

It does not mean in any way, that we should control or try to stop our natural thought process; but  it only means we become an observer of our mind.

 

There can not be a better spiritual practice than to stay mndful. To be aware of thoughts that cause stress or anxiety and choose which thoughts to entertain.

 

The more aware we become, the more power we have to choose and even change our thoughts.  And hence our emotions. This leads to an awakened life…to beautiful experiences…to bliss and peace.

 

Some ways we can bring more awarenss to everyday experiences are – Meditation, Mindfulness, Being still and connect within and being connected to nature.
