How can we reduce or heal the pain (any kind of pain) we are going through? Where does the pain come from.
Everytime we want the people or events in our life to be different from what is…we suffer with pain; the pain of resisting what is. The pain of things should be….like this, this person should be… doing this…should be able to understand this….and more.
While the reality is that everyone has their own map of the world and they can not understand what our mind think, even if they try really hard. The events and circumsances are actually been created by ourselves mostly with the help of our dominant thoughts.
As our physical body has the power to heal, our mind also has the power to heal mental and emotional pain. And our power lies in the awareness.
Naele Donald Walsch described in his book ‘Conversations with God’ –
The way to reduce the pain which you associate with the earthly experiences and events – is to change the way you behold them.
We can not change the external events or people, nor we need to. We must strive to change the inner experience, because that’s what we feel. And that’s what we have full control over.
In order to help body heal naturally we provide good rest, food and exercise and what it needs.
We must provide our mind, the awareness of our thoughts and understanding where the pain is actually coming from. An openness to let go of our shoulds and receive and accept healing naturally.
Also Do remember that joy and peace is our natural state and who we are!
