Why Hitting The Rock Bottom is Actually Good For You?

Your world seems to end.

There comes a time in your life when you hit the rock bottom. You feel so small and insignificant as possible. Doesn’t matter how many drinks you have or how much food you eat or a new haircut you get; It aches really badly.

Nothing seems to work, screaming, crying, sharing; nothing makes you feel better. And then comes a moment when you are on your knees and you dare to say Enough is Enough.

“I have been beaten, thrashed and thrown down by life. It is the time to pick myself up and show myself and life, what I am capable of.”

This is the beginning of questioning everything that you have ever thought to be true. You question your beliefs, your fears, your thoughts, your motives, the circumstances you attracted, why you succeeded or failed. The very fabric of your life is torn to rags and need to be examined in absolutely raw details.

When you have learnt the lessons you really need to learn, you have gained all the strength you need to gather, is the time to start fresh. It is from this point that you build again, with a fresh new perspective which is based on your new sense of clarity and wisdom.

“Hitting the bottom is actually good for you becase it wakes you up from sleep. It shakes you to the reality that how your happiness was dependent on others and their validation.”

You realise that instead of relying on externals, you need to find your own self, your purpose and your own validation. The moment you put your focus within, you start the process of self discovery and begin trusting yourself.
