5 Steps to Lift You Back When Feeling Low

When you are feeling low or depressed, sometimes you can not see a way out. Remember you just need to take one step and  a new path opens up as soon as you are ready.

You realise being in that low and rock bottom place was actually good for you. These few steps will help you move out from that place of hopelessness:

Believe this eternal truth

You are an integral part of this universe and universe never do harm to self. So know deeply, whatever has happened to you till now, has happened for a reason. It is upto you now, to take the lessons from all of that and leave the rest in the past where it belongs.

How are you looking at your story?

A new perspective, looking at things with new eyes; that’s all it takes to create a miracle. And it’s never too late to do this.

Stir your soul joy everyday

Make sure you do at least one thing everyday that brings your soul alive, whether it is a walk in nature, reading a book sitting on rock or in a nice cafe with a lovely cup of coffee, singing or dancing like crazy or even laughing for no reason.

Yup! the worse you feel, the harder it is; and the more you need to push yourself to do this rather than pitying yourself.

Moving your body physically, is a great way to feel your senses and come to present moment.

Whose responsibility is this?

Get this one for once and forever – Enough of blaming others, blaming circumstances or even self. You know now is the time to take 100% responsibility for your life and your happiness. It is your job to take action to make it work and no one else’s.

Take steps to create what you want, starting from today and keep going with positive belief in self.

Take control of your mind and life or your mind will control you.

Have laser focus

Whatever you do now, you do with laser focus on present task. Take total  focus away from your past and bring it to your present and future.

What do you want to create in future? Write down with full clarity and conviction. Then sketch a plan of action starting from today.

Come to the present moment with focussed energy to take action once decided.

Develop a gratitude attitude

A person who can see good even in bad times, can never be defeated.

This is a time to learn a gratitude attitude. Start feeling thankful for the little things you have, whether it is air to breathe, legs to walk, a roof to cover, food to survive or someone you love.

The more you focus on what you already have, the faster is your progress to achieve more of what you want in your life.
