Will 2015 Be Your Best Year Yet!

A whole new year – blank, raw, unwritten! How do you want to live it, love it, feel it? This is just the beginning of another chapter of your life book! Are you ready to write it, colour it, experiment with it, in the best way!

Here’s my tips to make it the best year yet:

Ask yourself what are those five things that must happen (preferably in 5 different areas of your life) by the end of Dec 2015, for you to feel it’s been your best year yet.

Take some time to write down what you really want to happen and be very specific.

For example, instead of – I want to exercise more; write down, I do 45 min exercise, first thing in the morning, 5 days a week (all days except sunday and monday).

Then add these 5 spicy ingredients to prepare the best recipe for your goals.

1. Values: Think of what values you wanna live in all 5 important areas/goals of your life. Focus on living those values more than anything else, and you’ll be amazed to see what happens.

For example – if trust is an important value for you, and you want to develop more trust in your close relations. Notice where do ‘you’ not trust the other person. Focus your attention and energy to understand the value and live it yourself first.

 All change starts from you.

2. Plan: Plan how are you going to achieve what you want. Seek any support or help you need.

Do you need to talk to people, experts, professionals? Do you need to learn a new skill or gain some knowledge, read books? Find out where you can find support.

Create a plan, review at regular intervals and edit if required.

3. Action: Once the plan is in place; it is time for action.

If you desire to find new opportunities; go and create them. Keep your eyes and mind open. Opportunities might not walk upto you; you must create them by moving towards them. And As Tonny Robbins says –

 Take massive action. Period.

 4. Attitude: We all know “Attitude is everything.”

Having a positive attitude and loads od self-belief might not turn the situation around, but definitely helps you to keep up the spirit, if the situation is not favourable.

No doubt, self-belief influences every action and result.

5. Focus: Stay focussed and visualise.

It’s great to make goals and then, let go of any attachments with them. It is a wonderful way to keep your stress down. Though it is important to stay focussed and keep on moving in direction of your goals.

Visualise everyday that you are already living your goals and connect with the feeling of having achieved them. It is a bit tricky but extremely powerful tool to fulfil your dreams.

When you energetically connect to your goals, you pull them towards you.

Last but not the least, final step – write an “Annual Review” as if it is Dec 2015 and you’ve achieved all you wanted. Engage with the thoughts and feelings you’ll have, while writing this review and save it to refer at the end of this year.

My brief draft of annual review 2015:

“End of 2015 and I’ve written 52 blogs in this year, created Audio affirmations as a resource for my clients. I’ve uploaded 12 videos for sharing tips about life. I’ve conducted 10 training workshops and worked with even more clients on dealing with stress and anxiety.

I’ve been even more mindful in my relationships, I have practised more listening and acceptance to all I love. I’ve connected to all my close friends on regular basis and made an effort to meet them at least twice a year.”

What are your top 5 goals? How are you planning to make this year your best, share with me. And remember the question is – “Will You?”

I look forward to reading your thoughts on that.

Much love.
